I’ve come to realize— and I’ll admit, I didn’t think about this before— that not everyone wants to use a ton of filament to print a full drawer system for their printer waste. But let’s face it, the need to handle those big volumes of poop is still very real!
That’s exactly why I designed this poop chute. My goal was simple: create an easy, effective, and budget-friendly solution to manage your printer's waste with no fuss.
The chute is designed to go to the left for one very important reason: slope. Doing it on the right side would have made it way harder to get the angle right and avoid clogs. On the left, though, it’s perfect for a smooth, uninterrupted flow.
You might notice the chute has a bit of a weird shape on the back, but trust me, that’s intentional. I’ve done a lot of testing and tweaking, trying out different paths, and this design completely eliminates any risk of clogs.
